Resources
Discipleship & Nurture Ministry offers a comprehensive curriculum and resources that cater to members of different levels of spiritual maturity and needs
Wesley Library
“Happy is the man who finds wisdom and the man who gets understanding, for the gain from it is better than gain from silver and its profit better than gold.”
— Proverbs 3:13-14
If you need to borrow good Christian books, look no further than the Wesley Library. Currently situated at the back of the Sanctuary in a little room behind the display shelves, it houses an extensive range of Christian books and literature.
Our Library is a beneficiary of many well-read donors who kindly donate their wide selection of Christian literature for those of us who love to read.
Whether you are a church-goer, small group leader, teacher or pastor, the Wesley Church Library is a treasure trove of Christian resources that enables you to grow in wisdom and not just in knowledge. Do visit us to read, learn and be encouraged!
As a member, you can borrow 3 books for a period of 3 weeks.
Operating Hours
Every Sunday: 8.45am - 1.15pm
(Here’s a useful tip: Beat the after-service rush and visit the Library before service so you can spend time choosing the books you want!)
The Library welcomes you as a volunteer too.
BookNook
BookNook has been faithfully serving the Wesleyan congregation for the last 36 years. It provides a good selection of Christian resources to equip, inspire and encourage your faith and daily walk with God — books by local and international authors, Bibles, devotionals, gifts, accessories, and music CDs.
BookNook is a sub-ministry of the Disciple & Nurture Ministry. Over 30 volunteers, in their love for God, commit their time to manage the operation of the store every Sunday and undertake stock management activities four times a year. We conduct regular activities such as Volunteers’ Retreat and Christmas Lunch for the volunteers to fellowship, and to enrich their relationship with each other.
Do step in to visit us at BookNook, which is located opposite the Plaza Hall.
Operating Hours
Every Sunday morning: 8:45am – 1:15pm
If you have a love for books and the desire to serve God, we would love to have you join us as a volunteer — we welcome both ladies and gentlemen, young and old.
AV Centre
Our AV Centre is manned by 56 volunteers who do recording of Sunday services, teaching sessions, special events, and church celebrations, etc. Volunteers handle editing, duplication, typing, sticking of labels, counter service, inventory taking and all other related work. The AV Centre also lends out Christian videos for members’ viewing.
At present, the Audio Video Centre is located on Level One, next to BookNook.
Wesley Methodist Church members can borrow the materials for free. Non-church members just need to pay a one-time, non-refundable deposit of $20.
The counter service volunteers would be glad to answer your queries.
