I Want to Experience God’s Transforming Love

Jesus did not promise that our life on this earth would be a bed of roses. The journey of discipleship may be fraught with heartache and tears, or moments of immense joy. The apostle Paul knew first hand the suffering of persecution, but he was able to endure with joy because he knew God’s power is made perfect in weakness.

The grace of God teaches us to trust His goodness and power. Grace enables us to see life with new eyes, regardless of the circumstances. We see evil, sin and pain in the world, but we see them encompassed by God’s presence, purpose and greater power of love. When we begin to see with the eyes of faith, we can accept God’s power to heal, redeem and transform each of us personally.

While many circumstances in life are out of our control, there are activities/practices we can intentionally engage in to draw closer into God’s presence. Examples of these are:

  • Breakthrough Weekend
  • Spiritual Retreats
  • Church Camp
