Job Description
Ministry Team Members are expected to work with the Pastor and Chairperson of the ministry to lead and grow SGM and its Small Groups. Shepherd the Small Group leaders and Pastoral Care Zone Leadership, work with volunteers in the planning and implementation projects and events in line with the Church’s plans and directions.
Responsibilities:

To support the leadership & Chairperson in providing spiritual and ministry leadership in SGM, including planning of key ministry events

To support Zone Leaders in pastoral care and spiritual leadership to assigned zones

To provide leadership and support in the various sub-ministry teams such as the Strategy Teams and Communications

Any other duty as required by the church, such as Congregational Staff for weekend and special services, duties for corporate events, pastoral care (bereavement) etc.

Any other role, responsibilities and activities assigned by the Church
Requirements:

A relevant theological degree or have received sufficient theological training related to Small Group ministry

At least 3-5 years of experience working in a church or Christian organization

Ability and willingness to work non-traditional schedules which includes evenings, public holidays and weekends

A mature Christian who can relate to people and families, and on a pastoral level be able to assist/guide them through issues, such as conflicts and mentoring

Love and fear of God, and a genuine concern for people
